LEED™ Accredited Professional, USGBC West Region Council Chair 

Founder, Director of Operations Stace has worked in the architectural field since 1985. He holds an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. Stace has worked on a multitude of sustainable projects including fast track commercial projects, retail projects, office buildings, banks, development feasibility studies, and cutting-edge custom residences. Stace’s volunteers locally and nationally in sustainable design, was influential in establishing the Green Alliance in Albuquerque, was a core member and founder of the NM Chapter of the USGBC, and currently serves as a board member of the NM USGBC Chapter. In addition, Stace is the Chair of the USGBC West Region Council and a member of the USGBC national Chapter Steering Committee. He has participated in numerous USGBC task forces on the adaptation and marketing position of the LEED Rating Programs, and has given numerous presentations to professionals advocating the use of LEED as standard practice. Stace’s current passion is to collaborate with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in the roll out of their respective green building programs. He is helping to train LEED for Homes Advocates in how to work with their local Home Builders Associations and how to create local LEED for Homes Committees to support the growth of green home building.
