Principal, LEED™ Accredited Professional, Registered Architect
Director of LEED and Sustainability Consulting Services Kris has expertise in sustainable design and development with an emphasis on energy efficiency, water conservation, healthy materials selection and recycling, indoor air quality and green project facilitation. She received her professional degree in Architecture from The Catholic University of America in Washington DC and has been working in the field of architecture since 1990. Kris was the LEED Accredited Professional of record for the first LEED Certified building in New Mexico and the first LEED Silver building in Albuquerque. She recently coordinated a workshop for the State of New Mexico regarding the implementation of the Governor’s Green Building Executive Order. Additionally, Kris manages commercial project development with experience in hotel design, office warehouse and tenant improvement projects. She was a member of the steering committee for the NM Chapter of the USGBC and served on the Board of the NM Recycling Coalition. Kris is a Professor at the University of New Mexico and actively lectures on LEED and other green building topics.
