Director of Design Services Kent is an award-winning designer who holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Masters Degree in Architecture with emphasis in energy efficiency from the University of New Mexico. Kent has worked in sustainable architecture since 1993 and has expertise in the area of energy, water, and resource efficient design including: custom residential, veterinary medical, hospitality, and master planning projects. Kent specializes in sustainability consulting, which includes creative and project specific recommendations for non-toxic, rapidly renewable, recycled, regional, and re-usable building materials. He actively raises the environmental awareness of design professionals, developers, and others in the field by leading sustainable design charettes and lecturing on sustainable living.
