Director of Technical Services Mike has been working in the field of architecture and construction since 1985. He has played key roles in projects ranging from a nine-story courthouse to flight simulator buildings, detention centers, office complexes, hotels, high-end retail work, and many custom homes. His practical knowledge of structure and building construction makes him an excellent liaison between design teams and contractors. He has taught graduate level Structures courses at UNM, assisted with Professional Practice classes and design critiques, and presented ēdi’s sustainable projects for an AIA tour. His knowledge of design and construction gives him the unique ability to understand the concerns of both and to find effective solutions that compromise neither. Mike has developed strong skills in creating realistic solutions for theoretical designs. His responsibilities include design, programming, code analysis, structural design and analysis, construction documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration.
